Five Kansas State Wildcats will take part in the 2005 National Football League combine, Feb. 23-March 1, in Indianapolis , the NFL announced recently.
The 2005 NFL combine will be held at the Indiana Convention Center . Those attending the combine will be separated by position and workout on specific days through the week.
Headlining the list of Kansas State Wildcats taking part in the combine is All-American running back Darren Sproles. Fresh off of receiving Offensive MVP honors for the North squad in the 2005 Senior Bowl, Sproles will be out to continue his rise as a first-day draft prospect after having one of the most productive Senior Bowl workouts of any prospect.
Wide receiver Tony Madison, who hauled in 13 receptions for 204 yards and a pair of touchdowns, will also get a look on offense.
Defensive End Kevin Huntley and cornerback Cedrick Williams were invited from the defensive side of the ball, while place-kicker Joe Rheem, Kansas State Wildcats' No. 3 all-time leading scorer, will have the opportunity to display his kicking ability.
