A three game road trip is rarely something to get excited about---especially in the first month of the season. However, the Los Angeles Clippers recent trek through Indiana, New York and Chicago did rewrite the club's record book in a few areas. The Los Angeles Clippers managed to set a franchise record for the largest margin of victory for a road game against Indiana and a team record for the largest come-from-behind road victory at Chicago. Both records, coupled with strong all around play on both ends of the floor, have been huge confidence-boosters for the 2004-05 Los Angeles Clippers. "You've got to be happy with the trip, coming out 2-1," Maggette said. "The second win was ugly, but we'll take it. A win is a win."
Despite the accomplishments, Coach Mike Dunleavy of the Los Angeles Clippers is quick to point out that a lot of work lies ahead. "We're still young, we still have a long way to go," Coach Mike Dunleavy said. "There's a lot to being able to play in this league, physically as well as mentally."
Nevertheless, Los Angeles Clippers have shown progress that has caused eyebrows to raise across the league.
