The National Hockey League’s (NHL) Minnesota Wild announced today that the club has signed a multi-year over-the-air television broadcast agreement and partnership with KSTC.TV, CHANNEL 45 to telecast a minimum of 25 Minnesota Wild regular season home and away games beginning with the 2005-06 season, including Stanley Cup Playoff games. In addition, KSTC.TV, Channel 45 will also provide the ability to broadcast several weekend day games on ABC affiliate KSTP-TV, 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS.

It is exciting to be associated with a station that has a core commitment to Minnesota sports the way KSTC.TV does,” said Minnesota Wild Executive Vice-President Matt Majka. “We expect this partnership to provide our fans with top-notch coverage and exposure to Minnesota Wild hockey.”
